Several European Member States are facing infringement proceedings for breaching European EIA laws. Ireland is taken to court for the third time, this year for excluding demolition work from the Irish law. Other court cases address Italy, Cypris and Poland. Furthermore, the Commission issued 17 final warnings for 13 countries.
