The 4th Halle Workshop on Efficiency and Productivity Analysis (HAWEPA) is organised by the Leibniz-Institute of Agricultural Development in Central and Eastern Europe (IAMO) the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH). The workshop aims to address new developments in theoretical and empirical research in productivity and efficiency measurement. Papers on the theory of productivity and efficiency measurement as well as on all fields of empirical application, including agriculture, regulation, health economics, production, environmental economics, government and industry are welcome.

Furthermore, the workshop is intended to provide an opportunity to young researches for presenting and discussing their approach to efficiency and productivity measurement. Thus, abstracts from young researchers are highly welcome.
