The International Environmental Communication Association (IECA) and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) are calling for papers for the 12 Biennial Conference on Communication and Environment.

The conference theme is inspired by this year’s Earth Summit in Rio. The issue of participation is linked with Environmental Communication in the way these two matters are of concern in the EC fraternity. Deliberation as a form of participation and communication about the ‘commons’ were chosen as sub themes.
