The second workshop of the TESS project was held in Tallinn, Estonia on 7 October 2010. The workshop followed a well-attended first workshop in London in 2009 to present a database of predictive models for the management of European biodiversity, assess performance and scalability of the models, and compare the availability of models with the need for prediction at different levels of government.

A total of more than 40 participants and invited speakers included experts from the 13 TESS partner institutions and from other FP6 and FP7 projects concerned with environmental prediction, as well as invited representatives from national and local governments.
