An eco-innovation action plan to stimulate green growth in the EU has been published by the European Commission. The Eco-Innovation Action Plan (Eco-AP) replaces the Environmental Technologies Action Plan, launched in 2004. The plan includes a variety of measures to overcome the barriers preventing the development and spread of eco-technologies, particularly among SMEs.
