The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at University of Hohenheim is calling for applications for the position as Full Professor (W3) of Crop Product Quality at the Institute of Crop Science.

The position holder will work on the metabolic processes influencing quality, from the growth phase through harvest up to storage, processing and conversion. Furthermore, the successful candidate will develop strategies for increasing and stabilizing the valuable ingredients of plant products, as well as improved methods for quality assessment. The position is intended to provide a link between the faculties of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Sciences, and it is located at the interface between plant breeding, crop production and food science.

In order to cover the English-language master programmes, teaching should be in English and German. Furthermore, collaboration with interdisciplinary research centers at the University of Hohenheim is expected.

Habilitation or other comparable scientific qualification as well as educational aptitude are necessary to warrant appointment as full professor.
