International Fall Academy 2012: The Economies of the Commons - Reshaping Economic Education
The Right Livelihood College (RLC) Campus Bonn calls to apply for scholarships for PhD students from developing and transition countries to participate in the International Fall Academy on 'The Economies of the Commons: Reshaping Economic Education'.
The Fall Academy will bring together the winners from the 'Alternative Novel Prize'. Thus, the participants of the event, who are all working on economic alternatives for just livelihoods and sustainable environments worldwide, will be scientists, policy makers, activists from different disciplines and regions of the world. Besides a promotion of the transdisciplinary dialogue and networking among the 'Alternative Nobel Prize' winners, it is a major objective of the academy is to present and elaborate on theories and practices with respect to just and sustainable economies going beyond markets and state, in particular regarding movements and approaches to promote effectiveness and efficiency.
