Junior-Professorship (W1) for Applied Plant Nutrition

The position is to be filled during the winter term 2011/2012.

The junior professor will cover the discipline of applied plant nutrition and crop physiology in scientific research and teaching within the curriculum of agricultural sciences. The position is intended to focus on strengthening and disseminating scientific background knowledge of the role of mineral plant nutrients in safeguarding and improving crop plant growth. It includes conducting and supervising a junior research group at the newly founded Institute of Applied Plant Nutrition at Georg-August University Göttingen, Germany. The new institute, facilities in the Department of Crop Sciences and in the Section of Plant Nutrition and Crop Physiology offer a state-of-the-art working environment.
