Launch of “Planet Under Pressure” Policy Brief Series “U.N. Overhaul Required to Govern Planet’s Life Support System”

10/01/2012 For the 2012 London Conference “Planet Under Pressure” a series of policy briefs has been prepared. They aim at providing policy-makers with access to the latest scientific research on sustainable development issues in the preparation process to Rio+20. The consortium of Planet Under Pressure has now released the first five of nine policy briefs. They target a variety of issues such as biodiversity and ecosystem services, food and water security, interconnected risks and solutions, and a topic common to all: reforming environmental governance.
