A LIAISE session on "Research for policy impact assessment for energy policies" will be held at the annual IAIA Conference on "Energy Future. The Role of Impact Assessment" in Porto, Portugal.  The session presents research related to policy impact assessment by example of renewable and non-renewable energy policies in the European Commission and the European member states. Papers that cover scientific tools, methods and challenges related to these policies and discusses the contribution of energy policy IA for sustainable development are invited.
