The implementation of the LIAISE Shared Toolbox is gaining speed. The feedback we received from various test users and in focus groups provided us valuable information on how to develop the Toolbox further.

The Beta version will add user accounts, to allow the users to enter own data, e.g. on their models and expertise. Furthermore, the set up of a forum functionality is planned to provide comments and feedback to other users, and to offer a communication interface for experts and policy makers. In addition, a content editing functionality and extended metadata on top of the Alpha will be implemented. Most of the content items are implemented already. Currently we are in an incremental refinement cycle, where the content forms are reviewed and updated. 

A Beta preview will be presented at the Toolbox Milestone Event on 20-21 June, 2012 in Edinburgh.
