LIAISE Working Papers Series

Date:
04/10/2011

We are pleased to announce that the call for the LIAISE working papers series is now open.

The LIAISE working papers series aims at collecting the output of research on IA and sustainable development from single and interdisciplinary fields of research, addressing sustainability both from social and physical sciences’ perspectives and is essentially targeted to an academic readership.

The maximum recommended length of submitted papers is around 20 pages (of about 700-800 words each). A short abstract, selected keywords - based on standard codes in the scientific domain of each paper, such as JEL codes in economics (http://www.aeaweb.org/journal/jel_class_system.php) - and scientific references are required.

Submitted papers will undergo a reviewing process, and will be published with the approval of the Scientific Editorial Board. The Scientific Editorial Board is composed of the following members: Prof. Anna Alberini (research Fellow at FEEM and Associate Professor at the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, University of Maryland, USA), Prof. Andrew Jordan (Professor of Environmental Politics at the University of East Anglia, UK and LIAISE MB member), Prof. Richard Store (Head of Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, Lancaster Environment Centre, UK).

If the working paper proposed for publication under the LIAISE working paper series has already been published by a LIAISE partner institute - following a consistent review selection process - it will not undergo the LIAISE working papers series’ internal review. LIAISE partners are invited to inform us on any previous review of the submitted paper.

The LIAISE working papers series intends to offer an additional publication opportunity for LIAISE members, and also for external interested parties working in the field of IA, and LIAISE will not require any copyright  transfer for publishing under the LIAISE working papers series. Partners are invited to carefully condider any conflicting issue arising from previous submissions, such as pre-prints of journal articles.

The LIAISE working papers series will be assigned an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN), and will be edited by FEEM in a LIAISE template.

The LIAISE working paper series will be disseminated through the LIAISE website, the LIAISE bulletin, LIAISE mailing lists and all other LIAISE dissemination tools and products.

The LIAISE working papers series will also be published on the LIAISE Open Access platform and could be further disseminated through all LIAISE partners’ existing networks.

You are warmly invited to submit your scientific work writing to the following address: liaise@feem.it
