PhD Training Courses at Department of Forest Economics, Swedish University of Agricultural Science

The department of Forest Economics at the Swedish University of Agricultural Science, Umea, is offering PhD courses in economics and statistics. The fall 2011 and spring 2012 courses include:

  • Natural Resource Economics (9 November - 15 December, 2011)
  • Forest Economics (23 January - 24 February, 2012)
  • Introduction to the statistical program R (23 April - 2 May, 2012)
  • Stated preference methods: state-of-the-art modelling (2 May - 1 June, 2012)

There are no tuition fees, the student pays for travel costs, accommodation and literature. Application is possible online and applicants should demonstrate how they meet the pre-requisites.
