The organisers of the this year's Regional Studies Association Early Career Conference "Times of Change: Future Directions in Geography, Urban" are callilng for abstracts falling into the following topics:

• Geographies of financial markets and institutions;
• Uneven development in Europe;
• Institutions in urban and regional development;
• Markets and marketization;
• New perspectives on Evolutionary Economic Geography;
• Innovation and Knowledge;

The conference aims to explore  the future of geography and regional studies and how the disciplines may contribute to understandings of the ongoing financial and economic crisis. With this in mind the organisers bring together a panel of established academics alongside early career researchers and postgraduate students aiming to identify future topics, trends and theoretical appraoches in economic geography and regional studies.
