The German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) is one of the leading think tanks on development policy. Through excellent research, policy advice and training, the Institute contributes to finding solutions to global challenges.

They offer a position as reseracher in the department IV “Environmental Policy and Management of Natural Resources”. The position can be filled immediately and is currently limited until 31 December 2013. The person will carry out research on the environmental performance of developing countries. At the centre of analysis are the manifold relationships between (1) political and economic systems, (2) types of environmental policy and (3) environmental status. In this context, different foci of research are perceivable.
