The workshop 'Responsible Supply Chains and Networks' deals with governance mechanisms emerging across governments, civil society and the private sector that are managing social, environmental and health risks associated with global supply chains and networks. In order to understand and trace the dynamics and the importance of recent approaches to supply chain governance theoretical and empirical interventions are needed. In this context, the workshop addresses the challenges of such novel supply chain and network initiatives, both in theoretical and empirical perspectives.

As primary objective the workshop aims to discuss current and develop new research associated with global supply chains and networks. In addition, the workshop strives to facilitate publications.
